The Most-Wanted Shoe of the Season…

It’s the hottest footwear trend of the summer to be seen in. We’re talking about the chunky trainer trend and we are big fans here at SOLETRADER.

A modern take on a retro style, the boldly coloured, chunkier-than-your-average trainer is definitely having a moment and the good news is it’s set to stay that way well into next season too. So now’s the time to get on board and raise your trainer game (quite literally) with a pair.

Here are our simple rules on how to wear this androgynous sports shoe in style…

Clash – contrast the masculinity of this trainer with floaty dresses and ladylike skirts.

Keep it simple – go back to basics. The easiest way to wear these shoes are with a rolled up pair of jeans and a t-shirt.

Smarten them up – although trainers tend to give off an off-duty vibe, don’t be afraid to make this style work harder by pairing them with tailored pieces.

    1. Hello, we can see that you sent an email to our Customer Service team on the 10th September asking for an update on your order. They responded on the 11th September saying that the tracking showed that the parcel had been delivered to you on the 10th September and asking you if you had now received it. As far as we can see there was no further response from you. For US deliveries a signature is not required. Unfortunately, if you now state that you do not have the parcel, due do the amount of time that has passed we are outside of the claim period with DPD to be able to raise an investigation into this delivery.
